ERR unknown command: Unknown command
RedisWhat does it mean?
Redis does not recognize the command you sent. The command name may be wrong, not available in this version, or disabled/renamed.
Why does it happen?
A misspelled command name; the command was added in a newer Redis version (not present on the old server); calling a command that requires a module (e.g. RedisJSON, RediSearch) without the module loaded; or the command was disabled with rename-command/ACL. Sometimes wrong argument splitting by the client also makes the command name look corrupted.
How to fix it
Verify the command name and syntax (COMMAND DOCS command or the documentation). Check the server version: INFO server. For a module command, verify the module is loaded: MODULE LIST. If the command was hidden with rename-command, review the configuration. Make sure your client library encodes the command correctly.
