WRONGPASS: WRONGPASS invalid username-password pair or user is disabled
RedisWhat does it mean?
The username/password pair given in the AUTH command is invalid, or the ACL user is disabled. Authentication was rejected.
Why does it happen?
Wrong password, wrong ACL username, the user is disabled in the ACL, the requirepass value has changed, or an escaping/encoding problem in the password.
How to fix it
Enter the correct username and password. Inspect the ACL user: ACL LIST and ACL GETUSER app_user. If the user is disabled, enable it (ACL SETUSER app_user on ...). Verify the password set with requirepass (CONFIG GET requirepass). When resetting the password, make sure all clients are updated.
