Make a node a replica

Command

REPLICAOF redis-master 6379

What it does

Makes this node a replica of the master at the specified host and port and starts synchronization.

When to use it

When adding a new read replica or assigning roles.

Caution

The existing data on the node becoming a replica is discarded and a full sync is pulled from the master.
