133: FailedToSatisfyReadPreference (error code 133)
MongoDBWhat does it mean?
No suitable replica set member was found to satisfy the specified read preference (e.g. primary, secondary). The driver could not select a node to route the request to.
Why does it happen?
Replica set members are unreachable/down, no primary exists while an election is in progress, a network partition, no member matches the tag set criteria, or a majority (quorum) cannot be reached.
How to fix it
Check the replica set status: rs.status(). Verify node health and network connectivity. Wait for the primary election to complete and retry. Review your read preference setting; if needed, use a more flexible preference (e.g. primaryPreferred). If you use tag sets, make sure a matching member exists.
