Check cluster stack health, the node list and the Clusterware version
OracleRAC & GridCommand
# CRS, CSS, EVM health check on all nodes:
crsctl check cluster -all
# Full stack on this node, including OHASD:
crsctl check crs
# Node list: number, status (Active/Inactive), pinned:
olsnodes -n -s -t
# Active version, patch level and upgrade state (after a rolling patch):
crsctl query crs activeversion -f
crsctl query crs softwareversion -allWhat it does
Shows that the Cluster Ready Services, Cluster Synchronization Services and Event Manager daemons are running on every node, the cluster members, and the active/software version of Clusterware.
When to use it
In the morning health check, after a node eviction or reboot, and after a rolling patch/upgrade to confirm all nodes are at the same level.
Caution
Read-only. If activeversion -f shows "ROLLING PATCH" or a different patch level, a rolling operation is incomplete; finish it (crsctl stop rollingpatch / rootcrs -postpatch) before making new changes.
