Check voting disks and CSS timeouts
OracleRAC & GridCommand
# Voting disks, their state and disk group:
crsctl query css votedisk
# Node eviction thresholds (seconds):
crsctl get css misscount
crsctl get css disktimeout
crsctl get css reboottime
# Move the voting disks to another ASM disk group (root/grid):
crsctl replace votedisk +<diskgroup>What it does
Shows the state of the voting disks (voting files) used for cluster membership and the network/disk heartbeat timeouts; replace votedisk moves all voting files to the target disk group.
When to use it
During storage changes, disk group redesign or a node eviction investigation; to confirm a majority (quorum) of voting disks is accessible.
Caution
A node that cannot access more than half of the voting disks reboots itself. The target disk group needs enough failure groups (normal redundancy: 3, high: 5; use a quorum failgroup if needed). Do not change misscount/disktimeout without Oracle Support approval.
