ERR value is not a valid float: ERR value is not a valid float
RedisWhat does it mean?
A command expecting a decimal (float) number (e.g. INCRBYFLOAT, a ZADD score) received a value that is not a valid floating-point number. Redis could not parse the value as a float.
Why does it happen?
The key targeted by INCRBYFLOAT not holding a valid float, a non-numeric argument, the wrong decimal separator (a dot is required, not a comma) or a malformed number.
How to fix it
Check the key's value with GET and make sure it contains a valid float. Use a dot as the decimal separator (e.g. 3.14). Verify that the argument is numeric and correctly formatted. If necessary, reset the value to a valid float.
