ERR value is not an integer or out of range: ERR value is not an integer or out of range
RedisWhat does it mean?
A command expecting an integer (e.g. INCR, EXPIRE, LPOP count) received a non-numeric or out-of-range value. Redis could not interpret the value as an integer.
Why does it happen?
The key targeted by INCR/DECR holding a text (non-integer) value, an argument given as text instead of a number, a number too large/small for the range, or a negative value where none is allowed.
How to fix it
Check the key's value: GET mykey and TYPE mykey. For numeric operations, make sure the key holds an integer value. Verify that arguments are valid integers within the correct range. If needed, reset the value (SET mykey 0) or re-create it with the correct type.
